Rehabilitation Services
When function, mobility or cognitive abilities are affected due to surgery, stroke, trauma, disease or a chronic condition, rehabilitation may be the key to recovery, greater independence and an improved quality of life.
Wood Haven Health Care has built a reputation rooted in a high level of caring. Excellence guided by experience allows us to meet and respond to many varied and unique situations within the world of rehabilitation, increasing the odds in favor of our patients in achieving their recovery.
Our Goal: Independence
Everything we do in rehabilitation is centered on a basic philosophy – making sure patients are ready and able to meet the challenges of life beyond our facility. Discharge planning flows naturally from each patient’s personal plan of care. Whether recovery means being able to walk up or down stairs, performing daily routines, navigating around with a wheelchair or a unique new set of circumstances, our therapists and rehab professionals ensure that each patient is up and ready for the challenge.
Functionality
We create personalized, coordinated programs to help each patient reach their own optimal level of functionality while navigating a unique set of challenges.
Independence
Decades of experience uniquely positions us to provide each patient with excellent care, enabling him/her to reach a greater independence and self-reliance.
Custom Exercise Plans
Our treatment plans go beyond therapy and include a personalized exercise plan, ensuring that each patient reaches their highest level of functionality.
Equipment
Our state of the art equipment helps patients stand and restore balance for walking, eliminating the fear of falling. Patients achieve faster progress and results. Our therapy gym is one of the largest in the area where we offer an Activities of Daily Life training area that includes a washer and dryer and a full kitchen.
